Fear

Fear constantly strikes me in the back.
Dagger of pain,
Striking through my vein.
Darkness and disgrace
Slaps me in the face.
Haunting,
Needing,
Stealing,
Screaming.
Heartaches invade my soul,
Always taking the greater toll.
Can't stop now.
Forever could,
Always Should,
Never would.
Hold my head up high,
Look towards the sky,
Yelling I AM HERE!
And then I find what I was looking for.
